Please consider a monetary donation to the CRPS Hope & Awareness Foundation. Your gift will be used strictly for the purpose of raising awareness about Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and for educating medical professionals, patients, caregivers and the community about this disease.

There are many life altering effects that a pain disease can have on a person. The mother who can no longer hold her child, the ballerina who can no longer dance, the surgeon who can no longer hold a scalpel. Many CRPS sufferers will wait years to receive a diagnosis, if they ever get one. If the medical system cannot identify or quantify their pain, the patient is left to believe the pain is all in their heads. However it is very real as they are suffering from a dysregulation of their nervous system.

CRPS has been nicknamed the "suicide disease" as sufferers sometimes feel so helpless and alone in the torment of their pain that they feel this is their only way out. Our goal at CRPS Hope & Awareness Foundation is to provide them with the resources and support so they find a flicker of hope in their struggle.

With your generous donation, we will continue to publish our series of three brochures about CRPS and work to have them available at medical clinics within the community. We also offer education sessions for Allied Health Professionals. These professionals include Family Physicians, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Chiropractors, Mental Health Clinicans and more. Our newest program is a monthly suppoort group for CRPS patients and we hope to be able to offer support to their caregivers in the near future.

CRPS Hope & Awareness Foundation is currently incorporated under the BC Societies Act and we are also a Registered Charity with the Canada Revenue Agency. Therefore we can offer tax receipts for any donation of $20.00 or more.

Please consider making a difference in the life of someone today. You can be a beacon of hope for someone who feels lost in the storm of their pain.

Thank you so much for your consideration and support, it is greatly appreciated.
